Director's Message

I am Louise Meyers. I have over 20 years of experience in libraries. I earned my Master's degree from the University of South Florida, after many years of library work. I have been the director here for more than 3 years, and have seen the library grow and become more popular as a social center, a learning and entertainment place, and a place where Jefferson folks come to use the internet, to check out books and movies, and to be involved in our community. We checked out more than 20,000 items this past year, both to local residents and peiople at other libraries in our cooperative!

I look forward to many years of exciting changes in the library. We hope to get a new bulding within the next few years, and to offer even more services in the new facility.
